Our Sealing

Jason and I were sealed for time and all eternity as husband and wife in the Nauvoo Illinois temple at 4pm on November 27, 2009. We were so grateful to have our family; Mom and Dad (Susan and Stephen), Jannell, and Janene, present to witness this most sacred event. We truly feel blessed to have the gospel in our lives! This was the most important and special moments of our lives.

Painted Bathroom

Jason and I spent about four hours on Friday night cleaning three rooms, two guests rooms and the bathroom. One room has a lot of his marine corps items that needed sorted, the other was our entertainment/guest room> now the new baby's room
(which took out everything except a book case and our "love sack"; placed all of the gift items on it. The bathroom has been a continual process. We are now starting to see light at the end of the tunnel. We selected a new paint color which we started on the first coat Saturday. It looks really super nice and I am so proud of Jason. Since we both work and have busy schedules between church and athletics, this has taken us longer than we would have hoped. Now we are starting to see the benefits of a little personal touches and how it can improve our home.

State Championships (VIDEO)

As some of you already know. The Bluffton High School Varsity Volleyball team played in the state championships against Daniel High School. The girls played hard, but sadly lost to Daniel in 3 games. At the end of the match, there was a special medal and trophy ceremony. Each girl was given a silver medal and a trophy presented to the coach and the captain. It was truly an honor to be able to assist coach these wonderful girls who had worked so hard all season long. Despite their loss, they should have nothing to be disappointed in in regards to their performance that day or during the season. Go Bobcats!

Fishing Fun

Last Sunday, Jason, Magic, and our friens Caitlin & Jake came over for dinner. We decided to go fishing before we ate our back from our home. We didn't catch anything but we had fun. It was super relaxing!!!

Marine Corps Ball; Happy Birthday Marines!

This past Friday, Jas and I attended the Marine Corps Ball. It was held at the Civic Center in Savannah, GA. More than 2,000 Marines and their dates attended this event. Topped off with traditions and ceremonial symbolism, this birthday celebration was one not to be missed! And Jas always looks so hot in his uniform! HEHE
