On June 26, 1997....Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone was published in the UK....20 years and HP has come a long way. Today we felt it only fitting to celebrate.  Thankjs for creating a wonderful world of adventure!

Welcome Oaklie!

On June 24, 2017 at 10:45 pm, my sister Cyndi and her husband Isaiah welcomed Oaklie Reylene Foster, 5 lbs. 12 oz. 18 in.  Momma and baby are doing great, they get to go home tomorrow. So excited to have a new niece. She is beyond precious and so loved already. Her big brother Hunter is so excited for his new sister, it's adorable. Congrats the Foster clan!

Jax lost his 9th tooth!

So last night about 15 minutes after we put the kids to bed, Josh comes down and says, " Mom and Dad, Jax did something important." We were so confused, but seconds later Jax comes down smiling with a tooth in his fingers. Jason and I looked at each other like....Did that just happen?!   This kid has lost so many teeth in such a short amount of time!

Swim Lessons Session One Complete

The kids did such a great job with their swim lessons these past two weeks.  We were so proud of them.  Each one improved so much and we couldn't be happier!  Session Two watch out, here they come!  All three kids had the same teacher, just at different times FYI.

Lego Batman

Last night, they held a FREE movie night at the theater (it was hosted by EFMP.)  The kids enjoyed watching The Lego Batman movie for the first time.....aside from the fact that they were a bit tired, I would say it was a success.  Frankly I enjoyed the first Lego movie better though...

HP #2....Bertie Botts and the Sorting Hat (VIDEO)

I am not going to blog everyday that the kids read/work on HP, but I will give fun little highlights.  On Monday for FHE, we decided to try the Beanboozled or rather "Bertie Botts" flavored beans.  Sarajane just went to town and really didn't mind ANY of the beans...Josh wanted to read what they were and compare....and Jax bit into his second bean and said, "Yuck I'm done."  It was a great way to connect an activity to the chapter we read.

Yesterday, we finished reading Chapter 7 "The Sorting Hat"....afterward, I found a game via youtube where it sorted the boys by simply touching the screen.  Both were placed in Ravenclaw........Jax for his wise nature and Josh for his wit....I think that nails it...hehe

Animals Attack

Jason and I were upstairs changing the bedding on the kids beds, and when I came down with the sheets and blankets for the laundry, I found this.  They claimed it was animals vs. humans and the dinosaurs were the only ones who lived.  Ha!  Love the imagination:)

Father's Day 2017 (VIDEO)

Happy Father's Day to all to our Dad's!  Often times you might feel like you may not be recognized for all your efforts...I hope you know how MUCH you are NEEDED, APPRECIATED, and LOVED!  We could never get through this life without you.  Thanks for always being there and setting great examples for us and our children.


I could brag and brag about Jason being the bestest Dad in the world...he truly is one in a million!  How lucky did we get?!  He always manages to make time for these kids.  It always seems to amaze me that I might mention a small thing that might be going on with the kids and he ALWAYS finds a way to show up.  It makes the kids so happy to see their Daddy!  Their lil faces just light up whenever he is around.  As a mother, it is the best feeling having a partner who is all in for literally EVERYTHING.  Jason you are the man and we love you so much!
