Sayings....

Pic courtesy of Superhero words clipart - WikiClipArt

Our kids have said some of the silliest things.  I wanted to blog them before I forgot.  What brought this all on was an incident that happened at school with Jax.  His teacher texted me that while she was doing a math lesson, her marker ran out.  She proceeded to throw it in the trashcan and missed.  Jax and another student ran to get the marker and Jax lost.  The other student proceeded to put it in the trash and Jax rather angrily said to her," Oh you are such an unlucky peasant."  His teacher said she was laughing so hard and had to regain her composure to talk to Jax about name calling.  Oh this kid, most what say "no fair", "you're a meaner", or "you cheated."  Not Jax hehe!

I will add more later as I remember.....

Boys Awards

Over the past few months, the boys have received a few awards.  Some for their positive character and other for certain subjects.  We are extremely proud of them and how much the try to excel and show their true colors at school.

New Term...

Since my degree is in History, I do try and keep up with the times/politics.  It has been quite the four years and I am unsure as to what the next four will hold.  Already President Biden has expedited his agenda, undoing what President Trump has done.  It is no secret that I am a conservatives and support those with like views.  I only hope that with the transition of "power" and overall ideals our country, its people will have more wins than loses.  More so than another others that I can I recall, this election has been the most hostile.  I will continue to pray for our leaders that they may be lead to what is best for all and not a select group or groups.

The TV was starting at 7:45am and I did not turn it off until 1pm; yep I am one of those....

Another 4 years

Yesterday, Jason signed off on another 4 years.  We are on the homestretch! Cannot believe it.  One maybe two more duty stations and he will be at 20 years.  So proud of him and all that he has accomplished.  He is so well respected by many, truly such testament of the man/Marine he is.

Our FIRST trip with our camper (VIDEOS)...pic overload

Jason and I wanted to test out the camper over this long weekend.  We stayed close to home just in case and went to the KOA near Lake Nasworthy.  It was such a fun filled four days.  The kids had such a blast.  I could not believe how nice having the camper was.  We took walks, hikes, played basketball, went to the park, rode these fun bikes, put puzzles together, played a TON of games, ate some good food, and ended each night with smores and campfire stories.  Here's to MANY more!

Look who we saw!  Jax really misses Ms. Rutherford
