Bring on the Decorating...

On Saturday, we took down all the Thanksgiving decor and put up the Christmas decorations (we started at least).  The boys REALLY wanted to help and pretty much put up the tree all by themselves.  Jason did the lights inside and out too:)

Thanksgiving 2015

This year we stayed at home and had dinner with our neighbors.  I didn't take too many pics, but here are some that I did take.  It was good eats and good being able to see our kids have fun and play.  We are so thankful for the family we have created and the connections we have made so far in NC.   We hope all of you had a blessed Thanksgiving:)

Hunting Season...

Sadly so far this season, Jason hasn't been able to be out as much as he would like.  He was out scouting an area and took some pics.  He did make a comment that I thought was really neat.  Made me think:)  He said, "When I first got out there (by himself mind you) I thought man it is really quiet."  "Later I kept thinking, man it is so loud... I can hear everything... the squirrels, leaves, even the wind."  Lovely how scenery changes perspective:)

Jax wants to be like Josh....

So I got a call from the school nurse at 2:45 saying that another kid has thrown a toy at Jax's face at recess and caused a big cut above his left eye (the same eye that Josh needed stitches on!)  So here I go to the school thinking the worst.... luckily the doc said no stitches but he did glue it.  Oh these boys!!!

Josh's Thanksgiving Preschool Presentation and Feast (VIDEO)

On Monday, Jason and I went to Josh's preschool presentation of Thanksgiving.  They dressed the kids up (either as pilgrims or Indians... even turkeys).  They sang a few songs and then we all proceeded to the banquet hall for a feast.  It was super cute and I couldn't help but get teared up.  I am VERY thankful for this preschool and the values and education it provides for Josh.

7th Annual Guitar Pull (VIDEO)

Last night was the Guitar pull on base.  It was part of Jason's bday present:)  We were able to get a sitter and go enjoy some good country music.  Our seats were great too (thanks Chelsea!).  We had a great time, so glad that were we able to go!!!
