The Uncle John gene (VIDEO)

So for those of you who know my Uncle John, he LOVES to sing and will sing almost anywhere and in any situation.  I think that Josh must have acquired that gene because he LOVES LOVES LOVES to sing and sings constantly!  I captured him this weekend jammin to Backstreet Boys:)  HEHE

Pie in the Face (VIDEOS)

This weekend, Josh went to a friend from school's bday party.  They danced, played games, ate pizza, and play Pie in the Face.  This was Josh first time playing this game, and although he was apprehensive at first, he had such a blast!

Family bike rides

Jason found this gem at the thrift store this past weekend.  Now we all can enjoy bike rides:)

Not a very good angle for me, just sayin!

She is thrilled:)

Friends and movie snuggles

The other day, my friend Sharon watched SJ while I was at the school for a PTA function.  She sent me this sweet pic of her with her friends Rylee and Finn.  Thanks again Sharon for being the "fun" one...as SJ calls you;)

Sweet dreams

You know they need a nap when you see them fall asleep on the couch. Sweet girl;)

Thank you School Board (VIDEO)

I volunteer at he boys' school on Monday's and Friday's.  This past Friday I had the chance to see the 1st grade classes prepare a video as a Thank you to the Craven County School Board.  They each held up letters that had a saying about being on the school board.  Jax had the letter "M"; which stood for MEETINGS MEETINGS MEETINGS.  Love how much he gets to participate and be a part of the school.

While driving....

Like Jax, Sarajane loves to take pics with my phone. Well, she took this beauty while I was driving home from getting her from preschool.  Do I really sit like this when I drive?  Hehe

Day with Daddy

On Saturday, Sarajane and I were not feeling too well (this darn cough!), so the boys had a day out.  They went out to lunch, went the the aquarium, went to Fort Macon, and went shopping for some boy necessities.  I must say, based off of the pictures it was a good day!

NFL woes

Ok, most of you know that I am a Denver Broncos fan....kind of comes with being a Colorado native.  No matter what happens, win or lose, the Bronco's always have my heart.  Now with that being said, playoffs are already underway and now the winners are playing for their set championships....then the Super Bowl.  On one side we have the Patriots and Steelers, the other is the Falcons and Packers.  Personally, can we just have the Falcons and Packers play for the Super Bowl?  I am not a huge fan of the Packers, but I like them a lot better than the Steelers or even worse the Patriots!  Ugh....hoping the games are good to watch though!

The other night, we watched the Cowboys lose to Green Bay (I was rooting for the Cowboys personally).  To show their "support" the boys wore their cheeseheads!  Goofs....

Happy 35th Bday to me!

This past Thursday I turned 35.  I huge thanks to all who sent bday wishes!  It was truly a fun day, or should I say days because my bday extended over a three day period!  Yeah I am spoil ed.

The night before my bday, Jason came upstairs and said that the kids could no longer keep a secret and they wanted to give me my gift now.  So I walked downstairs, it was pitch black, and on the island was an angel food cake (yeah the best and my favorite!) and a few candles.  The kids and Jason sang to me, and when Jax turned on the lights I noticed a brand new BIKE next to the dinner table.  I was so surprised and shocked!  I was crying and overcome with thankfulness.  It was truly such a great gift.  FYI...I was not feeling really well hence the clothes and hairstyle.

Me on the verge of tears because of my bike

Snuggles from the best kiddos in the world....notice how tall Jax is!

The day of my bday was very low key.  Some big points was I got to eat my FAVORITE meal, spaghetti with meatballs and salad.  So yummy!  The kids got me a few things for the kitchen and we celebrated with more cake.

On Saturday, he family took me out to lunch at Olive Garden and later to Happy Cakes (the winner of Cupcake Wars on Food-network...love that series!).  SO yummy all around and what a blessing to have my family around me.  We also had our friends come along.....Happy Bday too Chelsea!

At Olive Garden
This guy makes everyday good, fun, and all worth while!

 Now onto Happy Cakes

Love Josh smile, lil stinker!

It was truly such a great bday!
