Crazy Insane Busy times five hundred

Since the boys and I moved to CO, we have been go go go. I am so thankful that I have family and friends close to help out. I will hopefully get some posts done over the holiday weekend, but wanted to provide some brief updates.

This past month, Jax turned 2 1/2 and Josh turned 18 months (official nursery age!). Both are now attending daycare/preschool at Frontier childcare in Elizabeth. They are doing really well and love their teachers. Jax is starting the whole potty training thing (he took off his diaper by himself this morning and sat on the big boy toilet and went the bathroom, yeah Jax!).

Jason is going back and forth between "San Diego" (there are numerous bases in that area where he has been going, too many to remember) for additional training (which is really good). He is now the Training Chief at the barn, which another great thing for him.

As for me, the picture sums it up, just add teaching, grading papers, and driving 45 minutes to and from school everyday with the boys. I am BEYOND tired. I miss the boys everyday too. The good part of this whole situation is I love being back in the classroom. I truly missed it. Elizabeth was a great place for me to start and I am so glad that I had the chance to come back.

Well, that is enough for now, will get more posted this weekend. Take care!

Visit to Pueblo

Yesterday, my Mom and the boys and I went down to Pueblo to visit some family. My Uncle Tim and Aunt Bunny were in town for a reunion so we got to spend time them, not to mention celebrate her birthday which is tomorrow. We also got to spend time with Grandma Reed. She spoiled the boys with cars, books, and hugs all around. The last time she saw the boys was when Josh was almost two months old, so a visit was so nice! We also got to see our cousin Eddie, our Aunt Enie, Aunt Cindy, Uncle Bob, Grandma Hobson, and Andy and his family. It was just a day trip, but it was a lot of fun.

VERY belated.... but Happy 4 year Anniversary

On July 26th, Jason and I celebrated our 4 year wedding anniversary by going to dinner and a movie. My mom so kindly watched the boys as we ate at Outback and enjoyed watching Batman: The Dark Knight Rises (thanks for the coupons Dad)- the movie was AWESOME by the way! It truly was a good night. I love Jason so much. He truly is a wonderful husband and I am so glad we will be together for eternity. I am proud to call myself his wife and best friend. Love you baby!

Splash Park fun in CO

Today, the boys and I met up with Ashley and her boys at a splash park near Arapahoe Rd. It was packed! They just built it so everyone was taking advantage. The boys had so much fun... well at least until it was time to go, oh kiddos gotta love 'em!

Girls Night meets long time "obsession"

I meant to post this before I left CA but it did not happen. Before I left, a bunch of my closest friends in 29 Palms got together for the season finale of the Bachelorette. Now I will admit that I have FAITHFULLY watched every Bachelor, Bachelorette, and Bachelor Pad. I think they are hilarious. It all started in college with my still best friend Ashley. To this day, I enjoy watching it. So for that evening we had snacks and watched as Emily choose Jef- who just so happens to be a guy that one of the girls in attendance knew from high school, strange world huh. We laughed and laughed. It was a great night of fun and friendship. I am truly blessed that I have such great friends who not only took care of me, but my family while we were in 29. This post goes out to Tammy, Kandis, Nadia, Chelsey, and Kate. Thanks for letting one of my last nights in 29 rock!
