"Back to School" Drive Thru 2020

WE LOVE OUR TEACHERS...whether in person or virtual we know that you are always there for us!

For the first nine weeks, we opted to do virtual school hopeful that we can return to school in Oct.

Sarajane 1st Grade- Mrs. Henderson

Joshua 4th Grade- Mrs. Gonzales

Jax 5th Grade- Mrs. Land (he had her for 3rd grade- we just LOVE her!)

Covid 19 Church

We get to go to church twice a month now.  Instead of 2 hours long, it is 30 minutes with safety precautions and social distancing.  It is VERY different, however we feel still close to our Heavenly Father.  The spirit is so strong:)2

Will this be the new look of church?

Gum

Sarajane came to me the other day with a sad face...simply said, "Mommy I think I did something not very good."  And with that he proceeds to tell me she got gum in her hair and cut it out.  Frankly it could have been worse, but a lesson learned.

Masks and Treats

Another girls night in the books...so blessed to have friends to enjoy these silly moments with!

We Moved...a street over! (VIDEO)

So within the matter of 8 days, we found out there was a bigger house for us, packed our old house, moved to the new house, unpacked at the new house (except the garage), and cleaned the old house.  It was literally quite the whirlwind, still can't believe we do all that within a weeks time.  Crazy!

We had been on a waiting list for a bigger home (there aren't many 4 bd homes in base housing).  I called to see if there was a house available, she told me that we were still #3 on the list.  So we went about our day...well that night I got a call saying that they had a house for us!  The next day we began the process of the move!  We feel SO blessed.  Although our old home was nice and did fit us well, this one has more room for our big family.  Here's to new memories on Arapahoe Trail.

Our new house

First meals in our new home

And then there was the fence....it took a lot of sweat and Dennis strength to move the fence from our old house to the new house (more pics of this to come)

Thankful for the old and overjoyed for the new!

James 6 Month Fun Pics

So I was trying to be creative with this photoshoot.  I got these ideas online, thought they turned out decent.

James is 6 Months Old

James is 6 months old!

We are on  the path of becoming more mobile!  We have learned how to sit on our own.  James can "bounce" around from place to place.  He is VERY observant.  He notices birds flying, kids passing by, and any sound.  His most common nickname is Jamie Boy, Buddy boys, and Pumpkin Boo.  However he knows his name and responds accordingly.  He is attached to both Mommy and Daddy and is carried around A LOT...which might be our doom in the long run hehe.  In experimenting with solids, we have found that he likes pretty much everything we have given him EXCEPT broccoli and the baby food version of peas and green beans.  His favorite is watermelon and peaches (real solids).  He is VERY stubborn and wants to feed himself regardless of the consistency of the food.  He will stick his whole hand in his mouth just for a small portion.  We have resorted to buying bibs that catch food before they land on his lap. We are still using the sippy cup of water for meals and the rest is Mommy's milk.  He loves to nurse and be close to Mommy.  One of his favorite times to nurse is while taking a bath with Mommy.  He loves taking walks every morning and observing his surroundings.  We are waiting for teeth since his drool has increased A LOT.  He loves playing with his toys, but mostly to chew on them!

He is in size 12 month clothing but some clothes are up to 24 months.  He fits into a size 3 diaper, however he is almost ready for size 4.  He is sleeping through the night consistently now, which is WONDERFUL!  He wakes up with such a smile on his face.

He continues to be such a sweet joy in our lives and we can't get enough of him.

Weight: 18 lbs. 10 oz. (72nd percentile)
Height:  27 in. (68th percentile)- which I measured him at 29 last month....hmmm???
Head Circum.: 17.91 in (96th percentile)  SHOCKER! hehe

The boys wanted in on the action too
