Sadly we couldn’t stay longer in CA and our flight back was EARLY. Joe and Nina graciously offered to drive us their in the Yukon (which Nell and David thank you!) Better flight back this way, sadly Josh got sick:( Nonetheless we were so glad that we were able to go.
Today was all about Grandpa....we started off the day by going out to breakfast, ran a few quick errands; Jas showed the kids his HS and where he did his Eagle Projects, later visiting/playing outside, enjoying a game of phase 10, then heading out to dinner, finally ending at Nell's house with ice cream cake and presents plus a special picture presentation! It was so neat to see some of the pictures. James kept saying that Stephen (Dad) was his Daddy and all I could see was Jax. So much fun! I could tell that Nell and Nene had put a lot of thought and time into this, making it so special for him! A HUGE shout out to both of them for making this possible! It was great celebrating 80 years...what a legacy so incredible!
SJ got to stay the night with the girls and THOROUGHLY enjoyed being with the baby
