Happy Birthday Magic! (VIDEO)

Today was Magic's Birthday. On this day we celebrate her birth (which we really don't know when it is) and the date we offically adopted her. She is 8 years old and we have had her as part of our lives for 2 years. Jax loves playing with Magic and trying to catch her tail. She has been such a blessing in our lives and we are grateful that she is a member of our family.

12 Weeks

I just finished up my first trimester! I am still feeling nauseous and a little sleepy, but still trucking along. I don't go into the doc until Sept. 17th, but will keep you posted with any new developments. Right now I have lost 9 pounds... not sure how bad that is. This pregnancy feels a little different than Jax, but I still think its a boy.

Bath fun... caution you see baby's bottom (VIDEO)

Last night, Jas was having so much fun in the bathtub, I had to record it and take a few pics. He loves the water more than anything. It is so cute.

Look at my New Toy!

--- I came home and found Jax just laughing and enjoying this new toy. He had to tell me the story of how he got it. Below is his account.

"Daddy and I spent the day together last week and we went to Target. After I begged and pleaded with Daddy for this new toy, he gave in and got it for me. I love sitting in it and playing with the buttons, especially the ones that light up. Daddy you are the best.... I love you, Jax"

Laundry Time

I was folding laundry and Jax was on the floor. By the time I put some towels away, Jax had crawled over to the basket and tipped it over and was getting ready to crawl in it. I thought it was so adorable. Had to take these photos. He is such a happy kiddo!

Sleepy Boy

I love watching Jax as he sleeps. He is the cutest thing ever!

Welcome Emma Kathleen

Our friends Jesse and Meghan were blessed with a baby girl this past week. Peyton, her older brother just loves having her around. We went over for a visit and it made even more excited about having another one soon.

First Ultrasound Baby #2 (Pics are blurry sorry)

Went to the doctor on Monday and had our first ultrasound. Baby is doing fine:) I am measuring at about 12 weeks starting on Tues. So first trimester almost over... can't believe it. Since I had a C-Section with Jax, the doc said that this one will probably be a C-Section as well. Right now my due date is March 1st, but the doc said that I will probably have the C-Section right around a week prior to that. But I have a little bit of scheduling say. I will keep you posted... but Jas and I are still so very excited:)

6 months old pics

I can't believe that he is already six months old! My baby is growing up so fast. While Court and Cyndi were here, Jax had his apt with the doctor. He received another round of shots... which is always hard on me. Here are his stats to date.

Weight: 22 lbs. 4 oz.> 92% percentile
Height: 28 in.> 97% percentile
Head: 18 in. >92% percentile

BIG BOY.... he has been such a blessing in our lives. He is starting to "crawl" all over the place. We are now starting stage 2 and 3 foods with him. He still loves sweet potatoes and applesauce. Jas has been giving him dill pickles to suck on and he LOVES them. Time goes by so fast. Will keep you posted:)

Welcome Courtney... and Barts to South Carolina

Court and Cyndi came down at the beginning of August for a visit. I had not told many people that I was pregnant and wanted Court to be one of the first. Jax and I made a special card for her that said... "Guess what, I'm gonna be a big brother!" Jax handed it to her after we were done with dinner. It was so special! While they were here, we went to SOoo many places. I sure enjoyed having them here and being able to spend time. I miss family so much, and having them here felt a bit more like CO.
