Decorating the Tree

Decorating the tree this year was REALLY low key, especially since we knew Jax would want to get into it. We decided the get some blinking lights (Jax LOVES lights) and just put on our family ornaments. Jax wanted to touch the topper it was so cute!

Christmas Decorations

Here is what we have up in the house for the holidays. We had to baby proof A LOT, but still it feels good to have the feel of Christmas in our home. Outside pics to come:)

Our Silly Jax

Jax found his way into the dryer while Mommy was doing laundry. He also found his way outside the front door as we were getting groceries from the car. What a goof ball!

Happy Sealing Anniversary

One year ago on Friday Nov. 26th, Jason and I made our family an eternal one in the Nauvoo Illinois Temple. We are so blessed!

As a gift, Jason bought me a new set of nice pans!

Black Friday

Jason and I decided to get up at 3am to go to Target to get a 46' TV. Target opened at 4am and being "greenies" with this whole day we did not realize what we were getting into. The line for Target was ALL the way around the parking lot by the time we got there. We were starting to think whether it was worth it or not. We did stand in line for about 30 minutes before we got into the store. We kind of figured that we wouldn't be able to get the TV, but it was worth a shot. We were right, they were all gone by the time we go there. They had four different TV's on sale, so out of curiosity, Jason asked how many TV's did they have. They only ordered in 17 of the 46' and 50 of the 40'!!! If we would have known that, we wouldn't have gotten up! What a rip off! Feeling a little depressed and upset about the whole thing, we went home and didn't even attempt going to Best Buy (they had Smallville on sale for 9.99 for each season). We slept in for a bit, Jas went to work, and I decided to just see if Best Buy had any of the seasons left. Jason LOVES Smallville and has all the seasons, except for 7,8,9. I walked in and couldn't find anyone of them. Luckily a nice lady pointed me in the right direction. I found 7 and 8 right away but couldn't find 9. I was starting to give up when I looked behind a bunch of the season 5's and found ONE season 9, the last one left!!! So I would have to say that our Black Friday experience wasn't a total waste of time!

Happy Thanksgiving

Since we already celebrated Thanksgiving early with Joe and Nina, I was not anticipating having another one. To my wonderful surprise, Jason got the day off!!! He did not know about it until the evening prior so it was a wonderful day just relaxing with my sweetie and baby. I hope all of you had a wonderful Thanksgiving. I know that we are blessed to have everything we do have, including love and health.

24 weeks...belated

I have been meaning to post this, but I have forgotten; I blame the pregnancy HEHE:) I am currently starting my 26 week and things are going well. I have a check-up next month and will keep you posted on the new happenings.

...based off of the picture, I know I look huge! I haven't gained at all during this pregnancy UNTIL NOW!!!

Jax and Magic

Our cabin had a lodge with an indoor/outdoor pool and miniature golf. It also had a beautiful waterfall and bridge. We decided to take our Christmas photos there.
