January Randoms (VIDEO)

2022 sure started off with a bang!  And in some cases that was a real headache!

We found their streets:).... Jax is the last one we have left to find!

Bye bye blind, you sure have been good to us!
It was snowing!

We will miss the Tavaquia's

We found the street Jason lived on at when he was a kid
When we went to church, they welcomed us with open arms and these beautiful homemade leis
My childhood friend came by the other day with her hubby and brought us all sorts of goodies.  So glad that she will close for the next five months.
Can you hear the angels singing?
Look what we spotted while on our walk?
Sarajane just loved that you could see all the colors vividly
The flowers are so gorgeous here

Jas phone created this.... full disclosure (we are potty training:))

Happy 36th bday Ree!

Saturday on the Northshore

Today was absolutely wonderful.  We toured around the North side of the island.  Visited Chinamen's Hat, Laie Hawaii Temple, and the Market at the Polynesian Culture Center.  This day was reminder of how important family is and spending time with family.  Our sweet lil family can and do drive us crazy sometimes, but it is our forever family and we wouldn't trade it for the world.  We are so blessed!

The temple was gorgeous, and the visitor center was such a treat!  Watched a great video and felt of the spirit.  The sisters there were so friendly and gave the kids postcards:)

Fun tidbits.....

Josh thought it was cool that his cousin's name was on a license plate

Tried some Taro chips and they were DELICIOUS!
BYU- Hawaii
Polynesian Culture Center Entrance
Stopped for a BBQ plate....the chicken was INCREDIBLE!
Treat stop at the PCC Market.....kids ate their first Taro Roll (they loved it; Sissy loved that they were purple)

James is 2! (VIDEO)

Time is going so fast, and every minute we cherish seeing the growth of each of our children.  But on the 28th our baby, our little Jamie boy turned 2!  Our sweet boy is getting too big, and we can't stand it!

James is so full of personality.  He loves to talk up a storm and repeats things like crazy.  One of his favorite past times is to watch us while we get dressed and repeat EVERYTHING we put on; and there is the occasional side bar comment of our body parts as he proceeds to point and or touch, what a character.  He LOVES being outside and in the water, (which is a good thing since we'll be in Hawaii for a while).  He has the death stare look down perfectly, especially when he doesn't get his way or rather looks at you like "Are you kidding me?"  Very entertaining.  He LOVES to eat noodles, anything noodles.  He is currently obsessed with Mickey Mouse and Little Baby Bum.  But what he loves more than anything is listening/watching music on YouTube....and his eclectic taste ranges from Maroon 5 to Ed Sheeran to Taylor Swift to Katy Perry then full circle back to Disney songs.  He loves to dance along with them as well.  He loves to play with any sports ball (he enjoys playing catch) and his cars and blocks.  Since we have been so mobile lately, he thrives on playing with his siblings and snuggling with his blanket any chance he gets.  He insists that you "Sit there" right next to him if he wants extra attention.  He loves taking rides in the car and insists that he can drive too and throws a fit when he realizes that we are putting him in the car seat.  He will run to wall when he doesn't get his way and sometimes treat us with a hard head banging.  But the end is sweet as he says "Ok" to not doing it again and smiles while saying "Sorry."  His laugh is pure joy and he loves to be tickled.  We can't get enough of our lil man. We love you and Happy Birthday our James Joseph.

Stats and 2 Year Old Pics to come.....

Thanks to all who sent birthday wishes!  Loved the texts and sweet notes:)

We kinda went with a Mickey Mouse theme....nothing extravagant or big but perfect nonetheless!

For dinner, I made a fruit tray with all his favorite fruits (minus grapes), his favorite veggies (he loves cucumbers), and pasta (he just wanted the noodles but I added shrimp and zucchini for everyone else.  Later we had a vanilla cake with vanilla frosting....funny part was James didn't eat a bite!  He looked at it with pure disgust:(  Guess he's not a fan of cake.

Onto Presents....

Singing and Cake
