21 and 3 Ultrasound and Belly Up

May 16th, I went in for my "final" ultrasound.  Baby is growing and getting big.  Currently the baby is 14 oz., all things look in order, and was kicking a bit during the ultrasound.  My Mom and sister were able to come with me.  It was neat watching the baby move.  Can't wait to meet him/her.

So far all my tests have come back negative, doc says things look great, I have gained a total of 5 pounds from start to current date (3 lbs since last visit), and I am feeling pretty decent aside from being tired a lot.

After the ultrasound, I went to a place called "Belly Up".  It is a spa stricly for mother's to be.  Jason and the boys got me a massage from there for Mother's Day.  It was SOOoooo relaxing!!!

Life of the Truck

This past week, Jason was able to go and visit his folks.  Sadly, his truck literally gave out as he was pulling into their driveway.  Our brother in law was able to look at it and determine that it needed a whole new transmission.  Luckily, he worked for Chevy and could do it at a friends garage.  That helped A TON with cost.  Jason and I were so thankful for his help:)  Here are some pics of him hauling and fixing the truck.

20 Weeks

Here is the recent baby bump pic (they aren't the best, but still you can see a little bump!).  I am feeling pretty good, just REALLY tired.  No weird cravings except for watermelon:)  I still haven't gained weight.  I have my ultrasound apt. this coming Thursday the 16th so we will see if I have truly gained weight via doc. scale.  My Mom and sis are going to be able to come with me to the ultrasound, which will be nice.  I will do another post this week with new baby pics.

Pink or Blue?

Any baby name suggestions?

Happy Mother's Day

(Love this cartoon, reminds me of the boys sometimes; they love being my shadows.  You know you're a Mom when you give both your boys a bath, get them ready, and then proceed to take a bath yourself.  A few minutes into the bath you open your eyes from relaxing and see one of your kids stripping in front of the bath tub saying, "take a bath and swim with Mommy?"  Yeah that would be Jax!  Happy Mother's Day to me.)

Luckily, this year Jason and I both were able to spend Mother's Day with our mother's.  Jason got a few days off and went up to Woodland to spend time with folks.  They visited, worked outside and in the barn. enjoyed some good food, and I'm sure a lot of joking (mainly Jason gearing the joking to his Mom; HEHE).  He had a great time seeing everyone and being able to be with his mother.  His mother means so much to him!

As for me, we (the boys and I) got up; I snuggled with my boys of course.  I got to see what they made me for Mother's Day (pic of the hands framed, so nice, thanks you Maria!).  Jason got me a pregnancy massage at Belly Up (a spa just for mother's to be; so nice!)  We got ready, headed to brunch with my Mom and sister, headed back for park time and naps, then I made lasagna (I was craving it!), had salad, cut up watermelon, and cut up french bread.  My Dad came over for dinner and the boys, Mom, Dad, Cyndi, and I enjoyed good food and company.  It was truly a wonderful day.

I am very grateful for the two mother's I have in my life.  My mother who has always been there for me and given me everything that I needed and for a loving mother-in-law.  They are truly wonderful women and I am thankful to have them in my life!

Motherhood is not an easy "job", but I feel so blessed that Heavenly Father bestowed that upon me.  I have the best two boys in the world who always keep life fun and happy.  And to this new little one, I love feeling you kick and watching you grow through ultrasound.  I can't wait to meet you!  Your father and I love you so very much already!

Here are some of the pics of the day.  Josh was VERY camera shy, Jax took a few.  The pic at the bottom shows how bright the sun was and that it wasn't the best place for a picture; however I still love it!

Saturday with Grandma Reed

We decided to spend part of the Mother's Day weekend with my Grandma Reed, Aunt Enie, and my cousin Eddie.  What I have realized that I am slacking a little bit in the picture department.  Sadly, there isn't a lot of pics (most were taken by Cyndi while headed to Pueblo).  We headed out from Hr around 9:30 and got into Pueblo around 11.  We visited for 30 minutes then went to McDonalds for some picnic lunch items.  We went to Mineral Park, ate, watched some sword fight with real armor (it was really neat), played at the park, headed back to the house for naps, visited for about 2 hours, headed over to Grandma Hobson's house and visited with her Aunt Cindy and Uncle Bob for a bit, then headed home.  As always it was good visiting with everyone and hanging out.

Mother's Day Ice Cream Social at Preschool (VIDEOS)

Today I took the day off to spend with Jax.  Today was also very special because his class put on a special treat for the Mommy's.  They created the place mats where we sat, sang us a few songs, and ate some good ice cream sundaes.  Afterward, we went out to lunch, just he and I.  We came back to the house and both of us took a nap.  It was wonderful spending the day with Jax.  I hope he knows how much Mommy's loves him.  Excited to do things like this with Josh and this new little one two.  I truly think it is important that you take individual time with your kids; however big or small.  I know that I enjoyed that growing up; still do:)

Pretend Play... loving preschool (VIDEO)

It is amazing how much Jax has grown!  He is learning so much in preschool and developing in his own way, his Daddy and I couldn't be prouder.  The video is too cute of his pretend play.  His teachers are so good about keeping me in the loop and sending me pics of his progress and fun times:)

Moving Again...

Well we are moving AGAIN.  I wanna take something positive from this and not focus so much on the idea of moving again.  I am becoming an EXPERT packer and mover!  As originally anticipated, Jason would get orders here in Parker as a recruiter.  As life in the military goes, those orders did not work out.  And with this new arrival, we want our family under one roof.  So at the end of May, the boys, dog, turtle, stuff!, and I will be moving back to be with Jason in 29 Palms, CA.  We have grown so much as a family.  Being apart is SO HARD, but again another positive is, we realize how much we love each other and need each other.  Jason is such a loving husband and father and has made so many sacrifices this year for the sake of the boys.  I am forever thankful to him for being the man that he is.

So end of May we are heading back to the surface of the sun!  Watch out 29, here comes a VERY hormonal Momma who wants to stay cool:)  Hey I can dream right?
