Pecan Creek Farms (VIDEOS)

As per October tradition, we went to a "pumpkin patch/ corn maze" with the kids.  We went to this one last year and the kids really seemed to enjoy it. The Gardner's were able to join our shenanigans this is year which is always such a blessing:) We were missing the Swenson's this year:(  Despite the heat, we all had a great time.  Josh REALLY got into the corn maze this year, Jax loved shooting the corn (and in all honesty is a really good shot), Sarajane loved playing on the equipment, and James just loved being able to walk around and pet the animals.  He called all the animals, no matter what kind they were, a "puppy".  It was too funny.

First Buck of the Season

 Jason got his first buck (EVER) of bow season! So thrilled and excited for him. Despite him having to haul in mud and track the deer for over an hour, it was all worth it.  Meat for the freezer….bring on the jerky.
