Josh Birth "DAY"

Feb. 22, 2016 our Joshers officially turned 5.  He woke up to his favorite "sugary" cereal and decorations.  He then went to preschool where he took cupcakes in for his class.  After preschool we got some lunch and I allowed him to not "rest" today and just play.  To our surprise, a package came in the mail from Grandma and Grandpa Dennis.  He opened it later because he didn't want to open it without Jax (real sweet).  We later had lunch, more cupcakes with singing, and watched a movie of his choice before bath and bed.  It was a good day... gosh he is growing up too fast!

Ok so this year has been rather difficult trying to plan a time where all five of us were in the same location.  So with that being said, we did not do a "themed" party for the boys this year.  I know I know.... but we did do some fun things for them... and plan on doing more fun things this summer on our big trips!

Today we celebrated Josh birthday (Jason leaves for TX for a few weeks tomorrow) and then decided to have over just the neighbor kids (and our friends Jerry and Chelsea) for treats and playtime to celebrate both boys.  The boys truly did have so much fun.  We are very blessed to live in a neighborhood that has kids around their age that they can play with.

Josh turns 5.... bring on "K" (Mommy not so much)

Our Joshers turns 5 on Monday.  Over the past 5 years, Josh has definitely given so much humor and personality to the Dennis family.  There is never a dull moment when it comes to Josh.  He is always talking, asking questions, singing (lip syncing too), and setting the record straight (Mr. boss man).  He is our little fixer and helper.... even when we wish he would just not hehe.  He is also our Mr. Booboo man.... gosh this kid is covered!  But he is a tough one!  He loves "driving", playing outside on the trampoline and scooter, and enjoys going to preschool.  He LOVES loves loves learning.  He is starting to learn sight words and is about 80% with all his letter sounds.  He also enjoys his wood work class on preschool (he takes it once a month and has made some cool things)  We are so proud of our Josh!  Happy Birthday our little Awa...baby boy....Joshers!

Weight:  56.44 lbs. (99th percentile)
Height:  47 in. or 4' almost roughly (99th percentile)... the nurse felt the need to remind me that he is almost tall enough for the Disney rides....whatever!

-What do you want to be when you grow up? bigger just like Daddy and Jax.....I want to pick a center (like at preschool)
-What do you do when you are married? We will go to sleep and eat cake
-What do you think Heaven is like? it is like a church
-Why does the Tooth Fairy take your teeth when you lose them? gives them to a shark
