First time on an Airplane

"Leaving on a Jet plane..." This past week, Jason, Jax, and I went back to CO for my sister Cyndi's graduation. We had a short, wonderful trip filled with spending time with family. We visited with my relatives and close friends on both sides of my family and then visited with Jeff and Ansley in Silt for a day. Jax got so much attention! I will post more pics when I can... there is over 300 of them!

Happy Mother's Day
Happy Mother’s Day to all you mother’s out there. This was such a special Mother’s Day for me, my first as a new Mommy. This past weekend was super hectic, so I enjoyed a relaxed day with my two favorite boys. We snuggled in the morning, I love Sundays! When Jason brought me Jax for his bath, he had written on his belly “Happy Mother’s Day”. Jax and Jason got me a Kitchen Aid, so awesome. Jason made sure that I didn’t do any chores, he made me a wonderful rib meal, and pampered me the rest of the evening. It was a day to remember. I will provide our nice photos later, but for now, these will do. Hope you all had a wonderful day. I feel so blessed that I am a Mother who was raised by a wonderful mother!
Spring is here... let's plant!
Jason and I started planting a little early this year. In the back we planted small tomatoes, basil, mint, watermelon, green beans, and parsley. It was has been about a week and can you believe how big they are!!! The basil and watermelon were seeds when planted them. The tomatoes, parsley, and mint were small plants and now look! In the front we planted Japanese needle trees and petunia’s. I love seeing how things can grow! The orchids are from LAST year. Jason gave them to me one month before he deployed; they survived and are blooming so beautiful! We are also growing, inside for the moment, rosemary, thyme, lavender, and chives. Will keep you posted on how it turns out. In just a couple of weeks, we will be able to pick wild blackberries across our street! Oh, they are so good. Happy gardening:)
