Josh Bday Treat in class

Since Josh had a field trip on his birthday, he brought in treats for his class the next day. Josh is NOT a fan of frosting so he opted for powdered donuts and apples for his treat to share with his class. Josh's teacher Mrs. Blair took these pics of their snack time;)

Sweet Moment

Today, as we were walking home from school, we caught these sweet moments between Sarajane and her friend Finn.  We will sure miss them when they move to CA!

Today our baby boy turned 6.  Time is a flying by.  He woke up to everything being decorated and his favorite cereal, Fruit Loops.  Today at school, the whole Kindergarten class headed on a field trip to the Naval Clinic.  It was super fun and Josh got a surprise visitor...his Daddy!  Later they went to McDonald's for lunch and the WHOLE kindergarten class sang to him, made him feel SUPER special!  When he go home, he saw yet again ANOTHER surprise.  Josh said he had an "awesome" day (direct quote).  Happy Birthday our little Awa, Mommy and Daddy love you oh so much!  You have brought so much fun and personality to our family!

Josh Pre Birthday Celebration (VIDEO)

Due to Jason's work schedule, we celebrated Josh's bday a bit early.  For his birthday dinner he wanted French Toast (with whipped cream), Scrambled eggs, Bacon, and Strawberries.  Later, he opened presents, we sang happy birthday, and ate cupcakes and ice cream.  Thanks to all who sent bday wishes in whatever form!   It made him feel super special!  We did save a few things for his actual birthday...post to come:)
