A Tribute to Grandma and Grandpa Dennis

This whole trip across country and all that went on before and after would not have been possible without the help of Grandma and Grandpa. They came to our house in SC and helped us pack, finish tasks around the house, and help watch the boys. They drove a BIG Penske truck all across the country and are continuing to help us here in Twenty-nine Palms, CA. We seriously are so thankful for what they have done for us, for our family. We love you, we love you, we love you.

Happy Easter

Jax and Josh woke up to a small Easter basket filled with jumbo eggs, candy, and matching shirts for church from the Easter Bunny. Jax also got to choose his favorite cereal, he chose Lucky Charms; no joke!!! We went to church and enjoyed a wonderful program; remembering our Savior and the gift of the Atonement. Later we played outside with Easter toys and ate a good meal. Grandma and Grandpa Dennis also gave Jax red shorts and Josh a cute onesie.

Joshua Tree National Forest

Near Twentynine Palms, CA, there is a beautiful forest. On Saturday, we decided to take a drive. It was cool seeing the trees and cool rocks.

Jax with Grammy's toys

Grammy gave the boys an Easter Basket before we left Denver. Once we got settled in Twenty-nine Palms, CA on April 19, Jax was ready for a bath. Luckily Grammy gave him some toys for the sandbox/pool/or tub. We love Grammy!!!

Josh turns 2 months!!!

Our sweet baby boy turned 2 months on April 22, 2011. Before we left for California, we took both the boys in for a check-up and to get their shots. It wasn't too bad, but maybe next time we will take them separately. Here are his stats, and like Jax he is in the 95% in everything!

His outfit is compliments of Uncle Dave, Aunt Rhonda, Court, and Justin. Thank you!!!

Weight: 12 lbs. 12 oz.
Height: 24.5 in.

On the Road Again... part 4

We left Jeff and Ansley's Monday April 18 for California. We went through Utah, Arizona, and Nevada to finally reach California. We stayed the night at Barstow. The kids were getting so tired of traveling, but were such troopers!

Josh with Grandpa Dennis

When Jax was first born, he fell asleep on Grandpa Dennis' lap. Josh did the exact same thing, I had to take a pic it was so cute!

We Love Auntie Cyndi!!!

Cyndi is going to school in Grand Junction and came up for a visit. It was good to see her! Jax missed his Auntie (she was his nanny for a few months)

Time with the cousins

We went to Silt, CO to visit with Jeff, Ansley, Brooklynn, and Rhett. Jax had a lot of fun playing with his cousins! We sure appreciated everything that Jeff and Ansley did for us while we stayed there!
