Mommy Journal Moment....

So today was one of those days, I had a lot going on!  Aside from cleaning up this morning, hosting a playgroup, and then proceeding to have this type of an afternoon.....

...................need I say more.  There were other various things that took place along the way, but this was the finale.  It was super!  And to top it with a super sweet cherry, I sent this pic to Jason and his response first was ,"I am sorry babe."  then he sent, "It looks like a really good butterfly."  And yes another day in Mommy paradise hehe.

I couldn't resist today.... took a ton of pics while we were at the park.  I have been thinking a lot lately on my babies and how precious this time is.  My kids ALWAYS want to snuggle and give loves.... I don't want to lose track of it all.  It goes by way too fast!!!  Here is a bunch of the kids.....  love it when they play nicely with each other too!

SS~ Animal Theme June 22-26 (VIDEO)

This was our ANIMAL week.... or as Jax puts it "We learn about the animals on planet earth."  Too cute!  We had a lot of fun things to do this week...

Day #1: Shape Day

I was REALLY lack on this day.  We did go and get new library books but I did not take a pic of them until Tuesday.  The boys completed 4 shape worksheets.... they are getter harder and harder but the boys are handling it great!  We are still working on following directions and waiting.  Work in progress:)

Day #2: Reading Day

We watched a new video that the boys just LOVED!  They completed a few worksheets and are now trying to match the sound of letters to the letter.  And we made a delicious "Animal on Parade" treat:)

Day #3: Math Day

Since this is our busy day, we got right to it in the morning.  We are still working on the numbers 10-15.... boys are struggling with saying 11 and 15 (Jax says "7" instead of "11" (they sound similar I guess) and instead of "15" he'll say fiveteen:)).  We worked on a few worksheets then had fun outside for the rest of the day.

Day #4: Writing Day

The boys made TWO crafts this day and worked on the letter F,G,H,I.  I think having a craft gives them more motivation to complete their worksheets:)  HEHE

Day #5: Science Day

Very low key day.... we talked about different types of animals... those that live in water and land (domestic (farm), wild, and pets).  We also talked about animal groups.  It was a  great week that reall went by super fast.  Next week is our Ocean unit:)
