The Dash

This was AWE final fundraiser for the year....a DASH for the kids.  During their specials time, the students of AWE ran laps around their school track to raise the final funds needed for the schools two playground structures.  Jax was SOOooo excited.  The Kindergarten classes did such a great job.  Jax ran 13 laps!!!  They had t-shirts for sale before the event which had stars on the back that were marked each time they finished a lap.  He ran the most in his class...go buddy!  After they ran, they got a water bottle, Popsicle, and ribbon.  It was such a fun break in the day and the kids enjoyed doing it!

Disney Bookfair (VIDEO)

Today, we attended Josh's preschool Disney themed book fair.  They had a book display in the main area, but each room (door) was decorated like a famous Disney movie.  Josh's classroom was decorated like The Little Mermaid.  Others included Monsters Inc., The Lion King, The Jungle Book, Lady and the Tramp, Alice in Wonderland, and Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs.  Before we went in, we enjoyed a picnic lunch on the grass out front.  After lunch, the kids were able to go from room to room which had a fun game or craft for them to do (sometimes themed to match its decor; in Josh's room they made jellyfish).  After each one, they got a fun prize.  I thought that this was such a great idea and really got the kids excited!

While I was making dinner, Jason was playing outside with the kids.  He took these pics....how cool right?  Needless to say they were having more fun than me!  hehe

TENT

Here is what our $74 tent looks like up.  Can't wait to go camping.... it took Jason and I 5 minutes to put up and 2 minutes to take down... CRAZY!
