The Look

Cheesy Post coming in hot hehe

I pray my kids find someone that makes them feel the way I feel about their Dad. I pray to see them one day look at their partner the same way I look at their Dad. Such love, affection, adoration, admiration, and trust. Unconditional love and patience;) So lucky for this guy, so thankful everyday I get to be with him.

Happy 44 to me (VIDEO)

What a great bday! Was showered with calls, texts, emails, presents, and all the snuggles I could get from my babes. Jas and Mom made it such a special day with decorations and flowers. They made me Mandarin Ginger Chicken salad (a recreation from Aloha Salads) and Jas found me sound Tiramisu!!!! Also got a pedi the Saturday before and an uninterrupted bath! I’d call it a HUGE win! A big thanks to all that made my bday extra special;) Cheers to double 4’s!

Woke up to this spread

Got to talk with my Daddy

And the rest of the FAM
And yes the food was delicious!

Jas made these beautiful coasters for me

Boone Trip Day #5

Saying goodbye to the cabin who gave us such sweet memories;)

Boone Trip Day #4 (VIDEOS)

This was a HUGE day for the kids as we were about to explore tubing in the snow.  There is a tubing resort named Hawks nest where you were able to tube down four different lanes.  We got the 10am spot.  Just after we reserved I started to regret the time due to the cold.  We had winter clothes but not boots.  So Jason and I relied on what we did as kids; the old sock/plastic bag/sock combo (we did add a foot warmer).  Halfway into the tubing, we started shedding layers!  It worked great and I don't think the kids felt any cold or wetness!   Afterward, we headed to Troy's Diner (a must eat at Boone).  The place served old fashioned diner meals that we delicious!  For our last outing for our vacation, we took the kids to Mill's Mystery where James and SJ did gem panning and everyone did the ax throwing.  Really entertaining watching them!  We enjoyed warm donuts afterward and headed back to the cabin to relax, enjoy the hot tub once more, eat whatever was left, and pack up.
