Fashion Statements Dennis style

Kids.... here are some pics from today.

Jax is sporting the "you can't see me look" and Josh is fashioning the no pants look with his shoes on the wrong feet.  Both are enjoying their playtime outside today; Jax on the play structure as Josh
enjoys leisure gardening with friends.  Both are receiving huge amounts of press and are expected in Paris for their fashion week.

Precious Moments as a Parent

Jason and I always want the boys to love each other and be best buds.  Sure they will have their ups and downs like most siblings do, but we hope and pray they have a great relationship
as they continue to get older.  Based off of this picture, we can see how much they enjoy each other and love each other.  It's a great moment to see as a parent.  We love you our Bubbas and Littles (AKA Hoss).

Swimming in the hot tub (VIDEO)

This weekend was gorgeous... and luckily our pool was "unofficially open", so my Mom, sister, the boys, and I thought we would try it out.  The water was TOO COLD, but the hot tub just right.  At the beginning both of them were a little hesitant, but overtime they got comfortable and were having loads of fun- thanks to the assistance of some girls who played with them.

EHS Prom 2013 "Hollywood"

This past Friday, I chaperoned EHS Prom.  I spent most of the night checking girls purses, but I did manage to get in a little fun of my own.  Before we went to the venue, we ate at the Elephant Bar (which was actually

really good).  Here are some pics (not a lot) of my colleagues and I having a good time.  It was neat seeing the kids all dressed up:)  Thanks to my Mom who held down the fort until I got home!

"16" but almost 19 weeks

I know a lot of you have been waiting for a blog post of the belly.  Here are some quick updates.  Aside from the first trimester being sick to now craving everything bad for me I haven't gained any weight since my 11 week check up.  The doctor is not too concerned because the baby is still growing.  I can't for the life of me figure out why I haven't gained any weight, and from the pic it is obvious I have something going on.  This past week, was my doc apt. ("16" weeks even though I was 18 1/2).  Doc says everything looks good.  Baby's heart rate is 143 BPM and doing well.  We set up my next apt (which is the "20" week ultrasound) for the 16th of May.  And yet again, Jason and I are NOT finding out what the gender is.  I know sorry sorry for those planners...  I will keep you all posted:)

There has to be an easier way?

Ms. Maria, the boys daycare provider, takes TONS of pics for me while I'm at work.  I LOVE this one, just another reminder that I am raising two very curious boys who always test the limits (trial and error.)  Gotta love them!

What is up with these cravings....

I have always been the type to not really crave anything.  I eat when I'm hungry and whatever I have really.  When I was pregnant with Jax and Josh I really just craved Sierra Mist and Ginger Ale.  I did on a few occasions want Taco Bell but it was rare.  With this pregnancy I crave RANDOM things and it changes from day to day.  A few weeks ago I couldn't stand chips, but today I need sour cream and onion chips for some reason.  It is odd.  Here have been a couple of things I have craved just randomly without cause and after having it once, I am done for awhile....

Rice Cereal (Chex and Rice Crispies)
Corn Flakes
Sierra Mist
Root Beer
BBQ chips kettle style
Sour Cream and Onion Chips
A good Sub from Subway or Quiznos
Totinos pizza (I know gross right?)
Pickles; cold and really crisp from the fridge (I know so typical huh; almost ate a whole jar!)

For the most part, NONE of these are truly that good for you.  What is up body?

Making Bird houses at Daycare

Ms. Maria does all sorts of crafts with the kids.  Today they finished up their birdhouses.  They turned out great!

Birthday Party at the Denver Aquarium

On Sunday, one of the boys friends from daycare had a birthday party at the Denver Aquarium.  None of us had been before and luckily my Mom and Sister got to come.  They gave us a tour of the facility (the boys loved "finding Nemo and Dory" in the tanks and watching the fish swim, loved the Tiger, and got a little scared with their "Flash Flood" simulation), ate some lunch in their private playroom, met Sharkie, and played.  It was such a fun day and again, the boys did GREAT!
