I hosted a girls night to say goodbye to Nicole and her family who are moving to Alabama. Her daughter Erinn and SJ have become good friends. Such a sweet family, they will be dearly missed;)
Every summer ever since the kids were little, I’ve done “Summer School” or something educational for the kids. Below was the idea I came up with. Let’s just say I had EVERY intention of following through with it and we did do this for about three weeks then LIFE happened;) Between camps and sports our daily schedule was busy. Despite not doing it all summer; James read over 30 books (2 of which were chapter books), the kids made tremendous memories, and yes the house stayed somewhat clean and my pantry stayed full enough;) Summer, not for the faint of heart especially with four very active babies;)
Jason and Jax spent the past week at Boys Camp. They had such a blast. Some highlights were building benches, singing karaoke, tubing on the water (although Jax almost lost his trunks in the water hehe) , and Jax thoroughly enjoyed testimony meeting.
We planted quite a few things other than the herbs near back. Jax took pride in planting pumpkins (two kinds), watermelon, and cucumbers. With the help of Dad; they built, painted, filled with dirt, and planted. We are now seeing the huge benefits from it. Many more pictures to add as we see more pop up! Jax is mostly excited about the pumpkins!
