James is 11 months (VIDEO)

So we are now down to one more month before this lil cutie turns 1!  I cannot believe how fast this year has gone.  This little boy was born into a situation unlike any other.  2020 has definitely been an interesting one at that, however this lil guy has made it that much better.

He is still the most happy baby.  Currently he (is)......

-standing for many seconds on his own (we should be walking soon)

-DEPISES being changes....I mean he REALLY hates it!

-loves to annoy me with his constant need to take his socks off and chew on them

-really enjoys finding paper and eating it (which was a true joy during the unwrapping portion of Christmas)... baby wipes are equally as popular as well

-really enjoys "yelling" at me when he is done eating and wants down

-continues to climb up and down the stairs with only a minor fall from the third step

-loves getting into the doggie water bowl

-has progressed to loving the tupper ware cabinet

-knows he is a boy as evidence to where is hands go in the bathtub

-a great Hulk impersonator

-loves snuggling on our left shoulder while sucking his thumb

-still enjoys nursing before naps and for comfort

-loves fruit and peas

-continues to talk up a storm; says bye and hello while waving his hand

-loves playing with balls and the TV remotes

-loves taking baths with bubbles

-loves going on walks and enjoying being outside

-loves being carried around and loved by his siblings

Height: (TBA)

Weight: (25 lbs. roughly)

VIDEO...caution you see a natural baby

Because this kid is so mobile, getting pictures of him is near impossible...but he still gets us with his cute, mischievous little smile.

Christmas 2020 (VIDEOS)

Such a wonderful day.  All the kids were super excited.  James is still trying to figure things out.  We first saw what Santa brought, ate breakfast, the opened presents from the tree.  The rest of the day we enjoyed playing and relaxing.  The day went by SO quick!  Huge thanks to those who sent Christmas wishes!  Hope your day was as blessed as ours.

The kids waited until 7:30!!  A new record:)

Santa taped off the stairs so the kids wouldn't peek

I made a decision to make all of Jason's gifts this year....the first gift was something I was so incredibly nervous about.  I learned how to play the introduction to "All of Me" by John Legend.  I made a collage of the lyrics along with some pictures of us, framed it, wrapped it with a caption that he needed to open it upstairs.  Oh and FYI....I have NEVER played the piano at all and I was so out of my element.  I know that by doing this, it meant the world to Jason.

Thank you Auntie Nell and Uncle David

Thanks Papa

Thank you Grandma and Grandpa Dennis

The second present I got Jason I made.  First I bought a "prank" box to fake him out a bit.  He actually as really excited about what the box said he was getting until he realized it was a prank.  He had mentioned this about a year ago that he wanted a family decor sign that indicated where we had lived.  With the help of my Mom (and Eddie who cut the wood for me), Amber, and many hours of work we came up with this sign.  Jason just LOVES it.

Thank you Koenig Family

Thank you Trujillo Family- we were able to video chat them while the kids opened gifts
