Happy Independence Day 2023 (VIDEOS)

We celebrated the 4th while we were camping.  This day holds such a special place in my heart.  I am so thankful for all the men and women in uniform past and present who have sacrificed so much so that we can live the way we do; free to celebrate and worship as we wish and live in a country that stands for so much.  I feel that somehow that message has been lost by some.  Still there are SO many in this country who stand for its truths and for that I am grateful!  Let Freedom Ring always!

Ward Camp 2023 (VIDEOS) (LARGE POST)

This past week, our Ward Ohana was able to go camping at Bellows for the week.  It was a BLAST!  The kids just had so much fun, and it truly was fun to be able to go camping again.  The sun was brutal at times and the wind unforgiving, but we all got through it with smiles and memories that will last forever.  Some of the big highlights were playing slip and slide kickball, human battleship, corn hole competitions, MANY visits to the beach, playing volleyball, drinking MANY icees from the general store, enjoying a yummy potluck with K1/4, watching Super Mario Bros "Drive in" style, enjoying a fun lesson with stones and gems, and finally a Crab hunt followed by yummy smores.  Oh, and not to mention a bird got stuck in our tent.  No worries though the bird was set free and unharmed.

Heading out....we took two cars as we had that much stuff; so glad that Bellows was only 30 minutes away!
