This is what 1st day of school does...

We took these last night, can you tell the boys had way too much fun at their first day of school? Need I say more? Ha; )

AWE Open House and the Night Before 1st Grade and K (VIDEO)

Here are some pics from the Open House (we took the boys in to meet their teachers, drop off school supplies, and Jax showed Josh around the school).  I seriously cannot believe we will have two full time students!  This year Jax will have Mrs. Eaton and Josh will have Mrs. Blair (Jax had her last year).  They were both super pumped about coming back to school and couldn't wait for the first day.

The night before school, we laid out their first day clothes, shoes, backpacks, and got their lunches ready.  We read to Josh "The Night Before Kindergarten", said prayers, Jason gave them both a Father's Blessing( Again so thankful to my husband and how he honors his priesthood; such a blessing to have in our home!) (Josh was super excited, he called it, "Daddy just gave me a special prayer."  Too sweet right?), and it was off to bed.  Both boys were so thrilled and could not wait to wake up....indeed they both woke up numerous times before midnight because they were so pumped!

These are as good as I could get with him and his teachers; it was a bit chaotic!

Saying goodbye....on our part!  Jax was ready to learn!

Josh with his teacher Mrs. Blair....we LOVE her!!!

Jax was insistent that he do all of it himself.  He did not want us to walk him down or anything :( (but good for him wanting to do so).  We did wait until his class was escorted down to the 1st grades classrooms so we could take some more pics.  He did great!  Here's to a good full day Jax!  BELOW ARE HIS 1st Grade QUESTIONS, enjoy:)

Josh has orientation today from 8:30-9:30.  He played with his classmates while Dad and I went to a orientation with his teacher.  He was so sad that we had to leave.  He will have 1/2 days the rest of this week and starting on 6th, he will be full days!  He is so ready for this and we look forward to seeing what this years brings for him:)   BELOW ARE HIS KINDERGARTEN QUESTIONS, enjoy:)

Discovery Day 2016

Our Stake held a Family History Day at the stake center this past Saturday.  Each Ward's Primary Presidency was in charge of facilitating an activity.  Our ward signed up for "old photos booth".  Sabrina and I both had a lot of fun dressing up the kids.  Here are the pics I took of our kiddos.

Sensory Story time August 2016

This time for sensory reading the EFMP puts on, was focused on frogs. They even allowed Jax's book ,that he wrote, to be read to all of the children. (Those pics are in the middle of collage) It was very fun and the kids got into the hopping part of the sensory time!

School Do's

The boys got their hair cut for school.  Can't believe the summer went by that fast!  Looking cool dudes:)

Before....looking shaggy...Josh has a tail hehe:)

Then afterward....Josh looks so much like my Dad and Jax is a Jason mini me!  Cute boys!

The other day, Sarajane got her welcome letter for her first year of preschool!  Oh, I seriously cannot believe she is ready for this!  She was SUPER excited and ready to go then and there!  She will be attending 3 days a week at FUMP (the same preschool that Josh attended).  We are super excited to see what this school year brings for her!  Go SJ!

Rare Moments (VIDEO)

We had the opportunity that not many people get to this past weekend, we were able to stay at our house for the first time in almost 6 years.  We have been renting it out and needed to go down and fix a few things before our new tenant moved in.  It was super fun seeing the kids just run around and it made Jason and I think of old, sweet memories of our first home.  We were also able to visit with friends and see Zoe (Momma/Nonnie) in Charleston as she was recovering from recent surgery.  It was a very quick trip, but a fun and productive one at that!

A little sidenote.... and this might be TOO much info so I am warning you now but had to write it down....So as some of you may know, traveling with kids and the whole potty thing can be tricky.  We were driving in the middle of no where when Josh says, "Mom I have to poop."  Great right.  So I just told him to hold it and Daddy would find a place o stop.  He then asked how to "hold" it, and before I could answer him, Jax says, "Josh just cross your legs and squeeze your butt.  The poop will stay in there."  Then Josh proceeds to do it, making faces and all.  It was so funny and gave us all a great laugh....and yes we luckily found a place to stop and both boys took care of business.  Gotta love those fun sayings!  Another fun one that Jax has been saying is, "You scared me out of my head."  (When someone scares or frightens him)

Onto the pics....
Must Rest!
