Last Week Drive Bys

As part of the end of school, Belaire put on a drive by celebration for each grade.  Sadly, we weren't allowed to take a ton of pics, but was able to take a few.  We are so blessed to have such good teachers at Belaire, ones that went the extra distance for the kids during this crazy time!

The kids and I made gifts for the teachers....a poster, "hugs" (handprints), and fresh mint with recipes for summer.

Memorial Day 2020

We were able to spend some time with our friends over Memorial Day.  Good food, good company, and as always it's good having the kids (and the lil babies) play together and I get to hang out with the girls:)

Memorial Poppies

One of my FAVORITE poems is "In Flanders's Fields".  It is a reminder of all the sacrifice that many have given to allow us the freedoms that we have.  About a month ago, we got to see the red poppies....I wanted to make some for Memorial Day and found a simple tutorial on youtube.  Though the kids did a great job!

Last Day of School (Virtual Platform)

So the kids survived Virtual Platform!!! Oh and Mom survived too!  I could not be more proud of these kids for their resilience and patience during this time.  Plus I admire them so much for putting up with me being there full time teacher/Mom which I know was not easy!
