Love the Flowers

I have been running in the mornings and came across these gorgeous flowers.  On our evening walk, I made the kids stop so I could take some pics.  Nothing fancy but thought they turned out cute.

Father's Day 2020

A day to celebrate this wonderful man is always such a joy for me and the kids.  They love their Daddy so much!  Jason just continues to make me smile.  His unconditional love for these sweet and crazy kiddos is so refreshing and touching!

Pre Father's Day....the kids made him a few gifts

I had a friend make him some special macaroons; strawberry and cookies and cream...he was super thrilled!

Father's Day...

Jax and Josh made a scavenger hunt for Jason that lead him to his gifts, super sweet.  The kids and I made him a yummy breakfast (eggs, ham steak, fruit salad and toast).  Then he opened presents....he loved the crafts the kids made him and he is excited about his new crossbow case.  We then held Sacrament meeting, where is was all centered around Father's.  We enjoyed each other the rest of the afternoon (I made him homemade chocolate chip cookies, his fav) and topped the night off with dinner (smoked brisket, smashed potatoes, corn on the cob, sautéed mushrooms, and tropical fruit salad).  Jason and I ended the evening with Cream Soda and a good show:)  

The Pool is Open!

This past weekend, we got to enjoy some much needed pool time.  Nancy suggested we meet at the Rec Camp pool in the evening.  She said to meet up at 330....well Saundra didn't get her act together in time and sadly we weren't able to swim at the same time with our friends (there is a 30 person limit with a 1 hour and a half limit of swim) but the kids still wanted to swim, so we got dinner and headed back afterward for the last session.  The kids had so much fun that we came back the next day with Daddy and swam some more.

Lovin the Lake

This past weekend, we spent some time at the lake.  It was getting super hot, so the cooler water felt awesome!  We met up with our friends and the kids were so worn at by the end!  Such fun:)
