Josh can hold his own bottle!

Count Down to Phineas and Ferb

I know that some of you probably have NO idea what Phineas and Ferb is. Jax has a routine. Each morning he watches cartoons on Disney Junior as he eats and gets ready for the day. Among his favorites are Jungle Junction, Special Agent OSO, Little Einsteins, and Phineas and Ferb. All summer, they have been promoting the Phineas and Ferb movie! In short it is a cartoon has two brothers who use their imagination to have a great summer. It airs Friday August 5th and I am sure we will eventually buy it. Here are some pics of Jax watching Phineas. What I thought was too funny was that he had to find a relaxing spot to watch his cartoons. First, he sat in his brothers chair, which he is way too big for. So I took that away and went about cleaning up the kitchen. When I came back out to the living room, Jax had grabbed his brothers BUMBO, which again is too small for him. It didn't seem to bother him though, he was watching his show. Too cute!

Date Night... Bye Bye Harry Potter:(

On our wedding anniversary, we were able to sneak away for a few hours (got a babysitter) to watch the last Harry Potter. It was a great movie and a good finale to the series. Plus, I got to watch it with the man I love.

Now we are waiting for the Twilight finale Breaking Dawn, oh yeah!

Family Day at hidden treaures of 29 Palms

Jason was off on Saturday and we were getting cabin fever bad, so he looked up online things to do in Twentynine Palms. I really didn't think there was much to see or rather we had done it already. He did find a small museum close to Joshua Tree National Forest. It was the original school house. It all trickled down from there. We learned so much about the history of this town and who once settled and lived here. It was really neat. In a basic nutshell "Twentynine Palms was named for the palm trees located at the Oasis of Mara. When the area was settled by gold miners in the late 19th century, there were 29 palm trees growing in the oasis, most of which are still standing today. After decades as a rest stop for wagon travelers on what's called the "Utah Trail" named for a group of LDS discoverers, the town was established in the 1920s. There's a small Indian reservation belonging to the Twentynine Palms Band of Mission Indians. The nearby Marine Corps Base was founded in 1952." It is also noted for being the Oasis of murals because on the sides of local business, there are painting that portray aspects of this town. There are 26 to be exact. I will do another posting of those later:)

Do they look ALIKE?

WHAT DO YOU THINK? DO THEY LOOM ALIKE? NOTICED AFTER I POSTED THE LAST POST THAT I DRESSED BOTH OF THEM IN THE SAME SHIRT FOR THEIR MONTH MONTH PIC...MOTHER'S INTUITION? PLEASE POST YOUR COMMENTS!

Josh turns 5 months old!!!

Our baby is growing up so fast. Currently Josh is eating two bowls of rice cereal (about 1/4 cup each feeding) mixed with some type of baby food a day, along with 3-5 10 oz. bottles. He is Mr. Roley Poley. Very Mobile! We have been working on him sitting up and he is progressing. He loves to laugh and smile. Just recently, he and his brother will talk to each other in baby talk, so cute! His hair color is still fairly light. I think he will be blonde like his Daddy was. He sleeps through the night about 5-6 times a week. He is on the same schedule as Jax, so it makes life way easier. His current stats are:

Weight: 22.5 lbs.
Height: 28 in.

(THESE ARE OUR MEASUREMENTS SO THEY ARE A LITTLE OFF)
