Sticks

We go on walks quite often and with the cool coming in, it has been so wonderful to get out and enjoy the weather.  On our walk this past weekend, Jason told Jax to go and find a big stick.  (Side note: Jax LOVES finding branches and twigs and running with them along the dirt to see what kind of lines he could make).  We figured he would find a few here and there and that would keep him occupied for a bit while Jason and I enjoyed chatting.  Well, we called out to Jax who was behind us and and he turns the corner with this....

.....He definitely found a BIG STICK!!!  Jason told me that I should get use to the boys doing things like this.  Such fun and what a smart boy too!

"Cute as a Button".... Sarajane Birthday Party

This past Saturday, we celebrated Sarajane's birthday with her friends.  We were so overwhelmed with the many smiling faces that were able to come and celebrate with her.  She truly is such a loved little girl!  We are so blessed to have friends who are their for our children!

 Sarajane was still unsure as to what to do with the cake so Jason put her hand in it.  She did not like that at all.....so we tried giving her tastes but still the sour face.......

Josh has recently asked many times on who we love.  This video is just part of a conversation I had with him yesterday.  What a cute kid!

Popcorn and a Movie

After the kid naps on Friday, it was really hot outside so we opted to stay inside and watch a movie with some popcorn.  Even Sarajane wanted in on the fun....

Sarajane Birthday Dinner and Cake (VIDEO)

Sarajane's birthday evening was so very special.  Filled with play and good food.  I wanted to give her a few of her favorites for dinner so we had rotisserie chicken, cubed yellow potatoes, french bread, and corn (and just for Sarajane a banana).  She had seconds....

For dessert, I made her a small angel food cake with a small amount of frosting, raspberries, and strawberries.  We sang Happy Birthday and then gave her the cake.  She was so unsure as to what to do at first, so we gave her a few tastes and after that she dug in!  She was seeming a little sleepy so we had to help her with presents (hence no pics).  A huge thank you to everyone who sent birthday wishes via text, phone, email, Facebook, and mail (cards and presents).  It sure made us feel good and made her day so very special.  Happy Birthday our dear sweet little miss, we love you more than we could ever ever express!
