FIF April 27... new calling

For this week, I wanted to plan a lot for Girls Camp. I was just recently called on our church to be the Leader in charge of Girls Camp. So this past week, I got the devotionals done, did a mock craft (which I haven't decided if I like it or not), and figured out what handouts and fun things I wanted to give the girls throughout the week. Nothing is made yet, but the ideas are done and I am ready to shop! I do love this calling and hope I can be a good role model for these girls.

Splash Park

We have a small Splash Park on base and today a few friends, their kids, my kids, and I went for about an hour. The kids had so much fun splashing around. It took Jax a few minutes to warm up to and he gradually got into it! Josh didn't get wet much but enjoyed being around the kids and running where ever. Here are some of those pics.

FIF April 20th

This past week I wanted to put up all the decor and get the house feeling more settled. I am starting to feel more and more at ease!

Spazz Cleaning Moment

I know that some of us have had those moments of "what was I thinking"? Well, today as I was cleaning the bathrooms, I forgot a detail. I was on our bathroom, the last one, and I was cleaning the shower/tub. I had sprayed the cleaner and wiped things down and all I had to do was rinse and I was done with the bathrooms. I wasn't thinking, well I was just not about what would happen next. When I turned the water on, the shower button was lifted up, the shower came on spraying water ALL over me. So, moral of the story, "When you think your done cleaning, that's just about the time when the shower head comes on and gets you all wet."

Not a Pillow Fight, but a BLANKET fight!

Jax got this CARS blanket from his Auntie Nene about a year ago and has fallen in love with it. He nuzzles it all the time. Josh started to take some interest in the blanket and so, and this is how sweet their Aunt is, Auntie Nene bought Josh a CARS blanket for his birthday. We were hoping that the "feud" would slowly go away and both of them would gravitate toward their own blankets.... well here is a look at a day where that plan was not so successful. They aren't rough, they think it is a game and Josh gets so mad when he doesn't win. Oh, another joy of being a Mother of two very active boys.
