Spring Break at home Day #2

For our last day of spring break, we decided to hit the beach.  When we got there, we found 7 Puffer fish (dead sadly) near our spot.  The kids thought they were pretty cool.  It was such a nice day and not a lot of people there.  Great way to end spring break.

SJ was super excited, can you tell?

Spring Break at home Day #1

When we got back from DC, we decided to rest a bit before doing anything else.  So Thursday we rested and then on Friday we decided to take the kids to Lost Treasures .  They had miniature golf, go karts, and other fun rides.  Afterward we went out to lunch and just enjoyed being together as a family.

Boys Spring Pics

Here are the Spring pics for the boys.  Still as handsome as ever:)

Artistic look

I have an App on my phone that does fun things without me doing anything.  This popped up yesterday and I thought it was such a cool picture of the Supreme Court building.  Gotta love technology sometimes.

Bye Bye VA, thanks for a wonderful trip!

We sure had fun!

Thank you Adams family

This trip was awesome and what made it that much better was spending time with such great friends.  We were so glad we were able to visit with the Adams family.  We love you and thank you so much for allowing us to stay and share your home.  Best of luck in Guam...so jealous!

Love you Tammy!  You are truly one of a kind and one of the best gals I've ever met!

The whole gang....Kate, Christian, SJ, Josh, Ben (holding Rachel), and Jax

Day #4 DC Trip (Pic overload...AGAIN)

On our last day up in DC we wanted to see just a few places and enjoy being together as a family.  There was hardly anyone around compared to the past few days, it was kinda nice:)

Dealing with traffic has been fun...yeah no thank you!

Was taken on the West side of Pentagon where is was hit on 9/11

First stop The White House Visitor Center

Jax sure tried to take a pic...haha

Took this for Susan/Mom:)

Picnic in the Park...found a hidden gem!

Iwo Jima Memorial

Arlington Cemetery

Washington D.C. Temple...welcome to Maryland

The visitor center at the temple was super neat.  Had a lot of interactive things for both adults and children.  The kids colored (there pics showed up on the tree...super neat) while Jason and I explored the videos behind the kid center.

We took a pic as a family and then it showed up in the tree...fun!

I think at this point they had had enough pictures taken...what do you think? hehe
