Our Jaxers was honored along side 109 Kalaheo students last night for scholarships, athletics, and academic achievements. Jax was named Biology student of the year! He has worked so so hard and his efforts are being recognized! Way to go Jax, you are a rock star!
How can this be happening? How is James moving onto Kindergarten?! The day was filled with all sorts of emotions. Being his teacher had its ups and downs however it was the most rewarding thing we shared together. This kid is a math and science whiz and we look forward to what he’ll do in school. We are so proud of you our James Joseph!
I cannot believe my time at the ASYMCA is coming to an end! This job has not only been amazing for James but has been a lifeline for me. I have made some amazing lifelong friendships and cherished moments with incredibly kiddos. This has truly been a worthwhile experience, and I am so glad that James and I were part of it.
James and I first started off in play morning, then he joined the Honu 1/2 class, then he joined my class, Naia.

Last two days we gave out superlatives for the kids in the form of candy. James received the NERDS award for T/Th class (because he is Mr. Smartie pants) and the Milky Way award for the M/W/F class (because his knowledge of things; mostly science is out of this world)
