Josh can clap (VIDEO)
Tonight at dinner I told Josh "Yeah!" for eating his food like a big boy and he started clapping. I got out the camera and continued to do it and the video is the result. We are so proud of our smart boy!

My Boys
Jason had to go to the gas chamber today (training exercise so no worries) and when he got home he looked so tired. Since all four of us had been up since about 5 or so, we ALL took a nap. Sadly, Jax woke up with a bad dream. I brought him into bed with Jason and I and he fell right back asleep. Just as I was going back to sleep, Josh woke up. So I left Jas and Jax in the bed for a little while longer. An hour had passed and I went to go check on them, and the pictures are what I found. I love these moments as a mother to see images like these.

Other video to previous post (VIDEO)
For some reason it wouldn't let me attach two videos, so here is the other one.
Last Night's Dinner... (VIDEO)
Last night we had homemade soup and were just talking afterward when Josh and Jax started being comical. We decided to take videos of these smart and funny boys, enjoy:)

FIF... scrapbooking
Where is Jax?
We have been transitioning Jax into a "big boy" bed before we get the boys bunk beds (Jax will sleep on the bottom and Josh will go into Jax's crib when we do.) It has been a tough go around only because he gets in and out ALL the time. It takes him awhile to go to sleep. Today, we started trying to take a nap at 1 (he only takes one nap a day now for about 2 hours). Forty five minutes later of going back and forth putting him back into his bed, I look into his room and didn't see him, until I looked near his bed. What a tired boy! Oh, the joys of a toddler:)

Josh turns 7 months
Josh turned 7 months on Thursday. Currently he is crawling, eating solid foods (some of the same food we do), talking baby talk A LOT, smiling to everyone, has one tooth that is breaking through, takes two naps a day, still has his odd days when he sleeps through the night, and continues to be such a happy and healthy boy. Here are his current stats:
Weight: 25 lbs. (10 less than his bro.)
Height: 29.75 inches (about 5 less than his bro.)
He is off the charts!!! Big BOY:)

Jax's Surgery
Some of you may know that Jax went in for surgery this morning. He had a Phalloplasty done (corrective circumcision). It was an in and out procedure that took literally an hour including recovery. He was real whinny and cried a lot the first part of this morning and afternoon, but now he is acting as if nothing ever happened- no medicine at all too. We shall see what the next few days hold.
He was such a trooper too! When we got to the surgery center (6am) we checked in, got settled, gave Jax a new toy (thank you for the idea Tammy), and waited maybe ten minutes before we went back. After that, it was a matter of 20 minutes before the doc came and took Jax. We really liked the people at the center, super nice and comforting. We will keep you posted, but as of now Jax is being his normal active self. Thanks to all that said prayers and thought of us today.

Finish it by Friday Sept. 30th
Since Jax is having a procedure done tomorrow and I will be a little caught up getting him well for a few days, I thought I would start on my FIF (Finish it Friday) today and finish up next week. I have decided to FINALLY get caught up completely on my scrapbooks and baby books. I have already updated my stack of pictures and sorted them to what I need to scrapbook. I have looked through both the boys baby books for pics and that it done, and then updated their stats books. The rest of the days I will work on getting all the pics into scrapbook pages (I have about 16 pages to do... yeah A LOT) Wish me luck:)

Go Rhinos... Jason plays for 374
Jason is now playing for his unit's football team. He plays tight-end and D Tackle. They had their first game tonight and won 14-8. In the last seconds of the game, they were tied 8-8 and the other team had the ball. The QB scrambled to both sides and nothing, the corner-back tackled him, the ball came loose and the corner-back ran 95 yards for a TD to win the game (buzzer had gone out too). Jason is doing well and is having so much fun out there. We will keep you posted on this season's games:)
When you look at the pics, he is number 83.
And the winner is...

Which planet am I seeing?
At about 10:30 last night, I took Magic out before bed and I noticed a bright "star" in the sky. My first thought was it has to be a planet. I looked online for about ten minutes and nothing was put out there absolutely idenitfying what planet I saw. I found this website....
http://earthsky.org/astronomy-essentials/visible-planets-tonight-mars-jupiter-venus-saturn-mercury
and it told me a bit about what planets can be seen this month.
Does anyone know?

Finish it Friday idea...
My friend Tammy has this idea of "Finish it Friday". Literally you pick a small project around the house to complete by Friday. I think I am going to try and accomplish that from now on. Here is what my finish it Friday was; reorganize, add, change my address book into a new one and update my birthday/anniversary book. I finished it last night when Jason was at football practice. Feels good. Now I have the rest of the week to think of what I would like to accomplish before next Friday.
