Trick or Treat Street and Ward Party (VIDEO)

This Saturday, Mom, Cyndi, the boys, and I went to a Trick or Treat Street at Highlands Ranch High School put on by FCCLA.  The boys went through a maze, enjoyed games, and ran around in wonder of the decorations and fun things to do.  Afterward, we went to my ward and enjoyed dinner, Halloween games, and Trunk or Treat.  Aside from it being a VERY busy day, the boys did fine.  This year I dressed them up as cowboys; Jax is the sheriff and Josh is the robber (thanks Ash for helping me with the costumes!)  It was fun.  I will take more pics of them together on Halloween.

Mommy no more shopping

............need I say more.

Happy Birthday Jason

On Friday, we celebrated ( from afar) Jason's birthday. The boys made him a cute little craft and we were able to send him a package (thanks Tammy) with all sorts of goodies. He had work off that day, but before he left, his marines "performed" a little initiation/birthday fun. They strapped him down and sprayed him good. Jason said the water was so cold. Jason received numerous calls, texts, and wishes and he was truly grateful.

Sunday Pics

Halloween Decorating

Wanted to do something fun Sunday evening, so I invited my Mom and sis over for a new recipe (butternut squash with pasta and shrimp) and cookie decorating.  Jax loved the sprinkles while Josh loved dipping his plastic knife in the frosting.

Day at the Baseball Field

This past Saturday it was a bit chilly but I didn't want to keep the boys in the house all day.  Across the way from our apt. is a baseball field.  Nothing was going on so we played around and took some cute pics.
