Freshman Class Sponsor
This year, along with sponsoring NHS, I decided to help out the Freshman class. Here are some pics of them at their float for Homecoming, and this weekend we cleaned up the highway near the school. They are a great bunch of kids:)
Gorham gathering
Since Sharee is in town and some of my family had not met Lili, we had a family gathering at my Dad's house. The game was on, of course, we enjoyed pizza and catching up. We were use to us (me and the cousins) being the younger ones, and now we have all these babies around. Uncle John kept putting a lime wedge on Aunt Rhonda shoulder so I had to capture that. Toward the end of the night, Josh wanted to get into Papa's boots... he was successful:)
Thanksgiving 2012
This Thanksgiving took place at my Uncle John's and Aunt Deb's house. They deep fried a turkey.... so delicious. Jason was visiting from CA that week, so he was able to come and be with us.
Visit from Grandma and Pre-Thanksgiving
This past weekend, my sister came back from her schooling in Fort Collins and my Grandma came up from Pueblo. We enjoyed talking and visiting. Sunday we had a Pre-Thanksgiving dinner. Fabulous food, let the gaining of pounds commense.... hehe

Our Hero
Jason was recognized by his CO (Commanding Officer which is BIG and rare!) by helping assist and aide a man down. Apparently (and very short story mind you) a fellow Marine fell off a truck and hurt himself pretty bad. Jason along with another came to his aide first and took the necessary steps to keep him stabilized until the Paramedics' got to the scene. Jason thought that he was just doing his job, but in reality if Jason and this other Marine wouldn't have taken the steps they did, this injured Marine could have died. He was honored with the other Marine and presented with a Rhino Coin (the Rhino is the unit symbol) by the Commanding Officer of his unit. This was truly a big deal and how I wish I could have been part of the ceremony. At any rate, we are really proud of Jason and the selflessness he performs everyday to those who need it the most.

Jax at preschool
Jax has become rather attached to his teacher Ms. Michele. She send me pics of him sometimes. Here is one that she sent today. He is such a handsome kid!
